Palanca is Ukrainian ethnic village.

Intercession church is dated with big variety in on-line sources: starting from XVI up to XIX century.

Probably some church really existed in XVII-XVIII in this place.

But definitely the church existed in first half of XIX c. in appearance which was close to modern.

Ukrainian cemetery appeared around the church.

Judging by drawings, since some time the belfry was build close to narthex.

The church was not in use during second half of XX c. and had been destroyed progressively.

In 1960's primary roof cover was change to metal tile.

Restoration of the church was done during 2004-2009. Probably, during this restoration later annexes were removed from the church, and the roof got its primary cover.

Primary position of the church was changed: it was moved out of cemetery. Now it is situated near the Center of folk arts.

Architecture of the church is typical for Ukrainian folk style.
